Slate Support

Training wheels for short films, by NYRAI LLC.

How does Slate work?

Brainstorm an idea, and Slate turns it into a numbered storyboard. Then the camera walks you through filming each shot one at a time, with the storyboard shown as a guide. When every shot is filmed, tap Assemble to stitch them into a finished short.

Where are my videos stored?

Entirely on your device. Slate never uploads your footage. Deleting a film (or the app) removes its clips. You can see each film's storage size in its details.

Camera or microphone won't work

Open iOS Settings → Slate and make sure Camera and Microphone are enabled.

I used my free film — what now?

The free tier includes one complete film. To create more, upgrade to Slate Pro in Settings → Upgrade. You can always keep filming and exporting a storyboard you've already generated, even without Pro.

Managing or cancelling Slate Pro

Manage your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases on the paywall if a new device doesn't recognize your subscription.
